Pullip Evangelion Ayanami Ray Doll Set F-579 ~ RARE Ayanami Ray from Evangelion is an amazing doll from my personal collection. She has been on display and never played with. Her hair is an amazing shade of dark teal and is shiny and sassy in a bob-style cut. She has a peachy complexion and lovely face makeup. Her eyelashes are long and silky. Her eyebrow paint is a lovely shade of teal. Ayanami Ray stands about 12-inches tall and is fully articulated. Her eyelids can be controlled by pressing down two buttons located on the back of her head. By using a lever located between the 2 buttons, she is able to move her eyes to the left, right, and straight ahead. All Pullip dolls have a tagline, Ayanami's is: "I was born to ride Eva, I have nothing else... Feel like so." Ayanami Ray seems to be saving the world by night and a school girl by day, a story which is told through her accessories: multi-piece costume, lance, school uniform, socks, shoes, bandage, sling, headset (looks like two hair clips), doll stand, trading card and original box in the condition shown. The inside of the box on the left side tore when I removed the trading card. Please see the pictures and note that the trading card is still in its original clear packaging and the back of the plastic has the cardboard attached to it from the box. The trading card itself is still pristine. Note from the pictures that the lance, school uniform, black socks and shoes have never been removed from the inside of the box. Some of the pictures show her in other dresses which are available in a separate auction and is only shown to showcase her versatile personality. She was released in March, 2008. Pullip means, "young leaf" in Korean. Pullip is a line of stunning fashion dolls created by Korean company and marketed by Jun Planning of Japan. She would make a lovely addition to your collection.
